Introduction
Petellectomy is surgical removal of patellae due to various causes.
Cause of petellectomy :
Communited fractured of patella Fracture of patella more than 3 pieces the articular surface damaged badly.
Surgical procedure :
Not all patients used for petellectomy some patient need soft tissue surgery (extensor mechanisms repair).
Post operative care :
You immediately shifted from the operation theatre to recovery room you and your health changes are closely monitored.
You may hospitalization is approximately 8-9 days.
